The new NLC season is about to kick off and anyone interested should be on the lookout for these amazing night time clouds. The clouds should (with any luck) appear anytime around the end of Spring and into summer, when nights are at there shortest. The cause of these clouds is a much debated subject and one i won't be trying to answer, all i know is that they make for one of natures finest night time displays, they even rival that other great night time display, the Aurora Borealis.
The gallery above is just some of the photographs i have collected over the last three NLC seasons, i hope you enjoy them and don't forget to check back for any i catch this year. I will be updating live on Twitter for the first time this year so remember to follow me to make sure you don't miss the chance to view these stunning clouds.
